Whether you are sold on Moodle or frustrated by it, taking the time to evaluate what worked and what didn’t can be a valuable exercise. This workshop will introduce a self-evaluation checklist as a framework for evaluating your Moodle course and show examples highlighting some of the design features referenced in the checklist.
Whether this workshop prompts you to make small changes or major revisions to your Moodle course presence, members of the Learning and Applied Innovation team are ready to assist you. Come to this workshop to get the process started.
This will take place as a Zoom meeting. Participants will receive the link to join the meeting via their confirmation email.
Topics include:
Introduce the Moodle Course Design Self-Evaluation Checklist
Show examples of some of the checkpoints in a sample Moodle course and in actual courses
Discuss approaches for moving forward with addressing course design updates/ changes
Participants will:
Have access to and know how to apply the Hybrid and Remote Course Design Self-Evaluation Checklist
Know who to contact if they have questions about how to implement the checkpoints in their course
Faculty and Staff with Moodle responsibilities

Zoom discussion with demonstration of course design rubric and examples.
