Collaborating Around, All Things Birth to Three
Registration Closed
The purpose of this work session is to connect and/or reconnect with providers that work with families who have children birth to three that are receiving services in our community. We will put faces with names, connect and learn a bit more about what we all do! If you are a direct provider and/or supervisor of staff that provide services to children birth to three we hope you can come. This in intentionally scheduled over your lunch hour and yes we will feed you. To help us plan for this meeting we ask that you please register so we can get an accurate count for lunch.

MAISD is proud to present CHAMPS. The content will explicitly aligned to your School Wide PBIS/PSC in the context of the classroom. CHAMPS assists classroom teachers to design, or fine tune a proactive and positive classroom management plan that will overtly teach students how to behave responsibly. CHAMPS strategies are easy to implement and will: Reduce classroom disruptions and office referrals, improve classroom climate, increase student on-task behavior, and establish respectful, civil interactions. This training will cover how to score Acadience Reading K-6 assessments digitally. Participants will be given multiple opportunities to practice scoring the assessments using the device provided by their sending district. Be sure your device meets the technical requirements to run the program. Educators and instructional leaders who have been trained in the previous pencil paper scoring may attend. This is not a full Acadience Essentials training. It is a transition training to support educators and leaders who have already been trained in the pencil-paper Acadience Essentials. Those who have never given the Acadience assessment using pencil scoring are not eligible to attend any of these sessions. No Continuing Education Clock Hours (SCECHs) Free if you work in a district within MAISD or the MAISD.
