Behavioral Threat Assessment & Management Training is intended for members of school threat assessment teams in the Kent ISD service area. This training will utilize Kent ISD Behavioral Threat Assessment & Management forms, which are based on National models, to facilitate a robust risk assessment process and engage collaboratively with families and students to mitigate factors contributing to thoughts of violence and aggression.

Participants will receive access to the Kent ISD Behavioral Threat Assessment & Management Screening Tool, Risk Assessment, and Intervention & Monitoring Plan
and receive best practice recommendations related to Behavioral Threat Assessment & Management process and procedure.

Chelsea Kittridge

Chelsea Kittridge-Farrell is a Mental Wellness Consultant at Kent ISD. She collaborates with educators to integrate student mental health services and support systems into schools. Chelsea is passionate about student and staff social and emotional health and wellness and breaking down barriers to accessing timely, effective, culturally responsive mental health treatment.

Chelsea has a Master's in Social Work and Public Health from the University of Michigan. She is also a licensed School Social Worker in Michigan and holds K-12 and Special Education Administrative Certificates from Grand Valley State University. Additionally, Chelsea is a certified Restorative Practices, CPI, and Behavioral Threat Assessment & Management (B-TAM) trainer at Kent ISD.

Before her current role, Chelsea was a Behavior Coach at Kent ISD. She also worked as a School Social Worker at Rockford Public Schools, Grand Traverse County, and Muskegon County.
