Prior to entering administration as an Assistant Superintendent and Director of Special Education, Dr. Rufo served as a special education teacher, inclusion facilitator, and policy specialist for the Massachusetts Bureau of Special Education. Her professional experiences, coupled with graduate work completed at the Harvard University Graduate School of Education and training from the Carnegie Foundation in improvement science, have provided her with an understanding of both theory and practical implementation.
Prior to becoming the State Director of Special Education in Indiana, Dr. Nancy Holsapple served as a special education director. Nancy served in this position for fifteen years. Nancy has also served as a special education administrator and teacher in the following areas: Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Mild Cognitive Disabilities, and Emotional Disabilities having taught all grade levels except preschool. Dr. Holsapple has thirty-six years serving students in special education.
Naomi Church is a speaker, author, experienced educator, and credentialed coach. She served in public school districts for almost 20 years as a Professional Development Specialist, Math intervention specialist, RtI Coordinator, Instructional Coach, and teacher leader. Naomi is passionate about professional learning and building capacity in teachers and families to increase student success.
Dr. Rose Mason is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst whose research focuses on increasing access to effective interventions for individuals with autism and developmental disabilities by addressing both intervention development and implementation. She is currently an Assistant Professor at Purdue University. Rose loves to support schools by providing relevant resources and suggestions as they meet the needs of all learners.

*Cost of all workshops are based on membership in an Indiana Educational Service Center (ESC). Any registrants who are not members of an ESC in the state of Indiana will be required to pay the non-member fee.

WVEC CANCELLATION POLICY:
* Registrants who notify WVEC of their cancellation on or before the registration deadline date will not be required to pay the registration fee.
* Registrants who cancel after the registration deadline but before the workshop date or call to cancel on the day of the workshop will pay 50% of the registration fee.
* Registrants who neglect to call or notify the WVEC of their cancellation will be responsible for paying the full fee.
* On official school corporation weather-related cancellation days, registrants will not be required to pay registration fees.
