Tiffany Creager
Tiffany Creager earned her MSW from Indiana University and is a licensed school social worker. Tiffany began her social work career as an Early Childhood Education Director at a non-profit family and community center. In this role she collaborated with teachers, board members, and parents to create an environment in which students could thrive academically, socially, and emotionally no matter the family’s financial circumstance. This was achieved through the development of scholarship programs, sliding scale fees for attendees, and integration of individualized or small group social emotional intervention.
From here, Tiffany transitioned to an elementary school where she served as a School Social Worker for close to 600 students. Here Tiffany partnered with administrators, teachers, and parents to integrate trauma sensitive practices school wide. In its inaugural school year, this initiative saw office referrals for aggressive behavior decrease from 59 in the first nine weeks to less than ten in the third nine weeks.
Most recently, Tiffany worked as the Director of School-Based Services for a Community Mental Health Center. In this role, Tiffany collaborated with over twenty schools to integrate mental health services and provide supportive training for mental health providers and educators. Additionally, she provided clinical therapeutic services to youth, adults, and families. Tiffany has a passion for trauma sensitive practices and healing centered engagement. This passion has driven her practice and enabled her to partner with educators and mental health providers across the state of Indiana to begin to shift the approaches utilized in school and community settings.
