Wabash Valley Education Center Wabash Valley Education Center English is a morphophonemic language based on sound-symbol correspondences (orthography) and meaning (morphology). Explicit instruction that supports awareness of this structure and builds students’ bank of known morphemes serves the dual purpose of improving advanced word recognition and vocabulary knowledge. This live session will be recorded and shared afterwards with all who are registered.
Jamey Peavler
Jamey Peavler is a certified Orton Gillingham instructor. Jamey worked with M.A. Rooney and trained several teachers utilizing the OG method. She is currently an instructor at Mount St. Joseph College. She continues to work with schools to share her expertise with the Science of Reading.

* Registrants who notify WVEC of their cancellation on or before the registration deadline date will not be required to pay the registration fee.
* Registrants who cancel after the registration deadline but before the workshop date or call to cancel on the day of the workshop will pay 50% of the registration fee.
* Registrants who neglect to call or notify the WVEC of their cancellation will be responsible for paying the full fee.
* On official school corporation weather-related cancellation days, registrants will not be required to pay registration fees.
