Wabash Valley Education Center Wabash Valley Education Center This PD Pop will be a detailed overview of the two modules of the Reading and Writing Section on the New Digital SAT Suite of Assessments. Specific topics that will be assessed in the two modules of this section will be shown and provided to all participants. How this section will appear on the Bluebook App with be shown and discussed. Tips and Tricks that will help students perform their personal best on the Reading and Writing section along with many practice resources will be shown and provided to all participants. This live session will be recorded and shared with all registrants afterwards.
Bill is a licensed Secondary Math Teacher who has taught at every level from 7th grade through Calculus at the community college level. He was a classroom teacher for 30+ years in a combination of both Indiana and California. Bill has been a Presidential Award for Excellence in Math and Science State Finalist in both California and Indiana. After retiring from classroom teaching, he was the Secondary Math Specialist at the Indiana Department of Education and then a Regional Director for the Indiana GEAR UP Grant at Purdue University before joining the INcompassing Education team in 2021. He has developed and promotes parental, community, and technology involvement to improve student’s understanding and abilities in math. He enjoys working with others to make mathematics education fun, exciting, and enjoyable not having the negative connotation it usually receives.

* Registrants who notify WVEC of their cancellation on or before the registration deadline date will not be required to pay the registration fee.
* Registrants who cancel after the registration deadline but before the workshop date or call to cancel on the day of the workshop will pay 50% of the registration fee.
* Registrants who neglect to call or notify the WVEC of their cancellation will be responsible for paying the full fee.
* On official school corporation weather-related cancellation days, registrants will not be required to pay registration fees.
