Phyllinga Jackson
Hello, I'm Phyllinga! I live in Rochester, Indiana where beef cows, corn and soybeans are my closest neighbors. I am currently an ELL teacher at Franklin Elementary School in Logansport, Indiana. I have been an educator for seven years where I have been a newcomers teacher and taught various grades including 1st, 3rd and 5th grade remotely. When I am not in the classroom, I am creating centerpieces as a wedding planner or exploring new outdoor wonders with my 3 year daughter, Ava-Grace! I am passionate about my family, students and my own professional development as a lifelong learner. I enjoy all things tech and harnessing creativity. My educational philosophy is a quote by Rita Pierson that states , "Every child deserves a champion- an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection and insists that they become the best that they can possibly be."
