Eliza Talamantes
Eliza is an experienced educator with a strong background in teaching multilingual learners at an intermediate level. With 9 years of teaching experience, Eliza has spent 8 of those years teaching STEM in a sheltered classroom, working with students of all language levels. Currently, Eliza is a 5th and 6th grade multilingual teacher. Eliza holds a Bachelors in Education Studies and Spanish from DePauw University, a Master’s degree from Columbia College of Chicago, and has recently obtained a license in English as a Second Language from Purdue University. When she is not teaching, Eliza loves spending time with her two young sons, Leo and Hugo, and practicing her Spanish with her husband, Jose.

* Registrants who notify WVEC of their cancellation on or before the registration deadline date will not be required to pay the registration fee.
* Registrants who cancel after the registration deadline but before the workshop date or call to cancel on the day of the workshop will pay 50% of the registration fee.
* Registrants who neglect to call or notify the WVEC of their cancellation will be responsible for paying the full fee.
* On official school corporation weather-related cancellation days, registrants will not be required to pay registration fees.
