Wabash Valley Education Center Wabash Valley Education Center WVEC will be offering ServSafe training on June 19, 2023 at Wabash Valley Education Center, 3061 Benton St., West Lafayette IN 47906. Kelley Lease will be our trainer and test proctor.
Kelley Lease
Kelley Lease is a graduate of Purdue University as a Dietetic Technician. She is Registered through the American Dietetic Association and a Certified School Nutrition Specialist. She was employed with the Logansport School Corporation for 28 years as the Food & Nutrition Director. During that time some of her accomplishments include:
- School Nutrition Association District 4 Representative
- Food Safety Trainer and Proctor through ServSafe
- Indiana Food Service Mentor for new Directors
- Served on the national committee of The Joint Institute for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition for the state of Indiana
- One of the lowest paid meal costs in Indiana
- Successfully increased operating balance
Kelley specializes in customer service, innovation, creativity and menu development. She is dedicated and has a passion for nutrition. Her mission is to help the Director administer a successful food service program to her students. She can provide the gap between the schools and the Indiana Department of Education. Whatever the need is, she can help.

Cost: $60/Service Center Member or $120/District not belonging to a Service Center*
*Cost of all workshops are based on membership in an Indiana Educational Service Center (ESC). Any registrants who are not members of an ESC in the state of Indiana will be required to pay the non-member fee.

WVEC CANCELLATION POLICY:
* Registrants who notify WVEC of their cancellation on or before the registration deadline date will not be required to pay the registration fee.
* Registrants who cancel after the registration deadline but before the workshop date or call to cancel on the day of the workshop will pay 50% of the registration fee.
* Registrants who neglect to call or notify the WVEC of their cancellation will be responsible for paying the full fee.
* On official school corporation weather-related cancellation days, registrants will not be required to pay registration fees.
