PD Pop: ~Making Formative and Summative Assessments Meaningful and Useful for Students and Teachers (6-12) - Presented by Bill Reed

Do you have discussions about students using calculators, A.I., or other electronic tools on their classwork, quizzes, and tests? Are you asking the questions where calculators, A.I., or other electronic tools do not make a difference for answering the questions? Do you want students to show they know, understand, and can use the math skills you have taught in class with or without using calculators, A.I., or other electronic tools? Join us to learn how to use formative and summative assessment questions to make sure the students understand the mathematics you have taught them. We will discuss how to use tools like calculators, A.I., or other electronic devices to augment your instruction and then how to formulate formative and summative assessment questions where electronic tools will not answer the questions you are asking. Examples and resource materials for formative and summative assessment questions will be provided for teachers to use in their classrooms. This session will be recorded and available to registrants for 2 months after the live session.
