HET Module 2a: Essential Elements of Planning and Lesson Design

 

This is a 4 day course:

 

Days 1 and 2: August 21st and 22nd at Springfield School District EMC Training Center 8:30am to 3:30pm

Days 3 and 4: Held virtually on October 10th and October 12th 3:45pm to 5:45pm 

 

CPDU: Hours - 18 -  Participants must attend all sessions to receive CPDUs and Certificate of Participation

 

Apply the 'areas of performance,' 'repertoire' and 'matching' to planning, objectives, formative assessment, criteria for success, and protocols for analyzing student work.

One graduate credit is available through Pacific University for $150. Information and registration details will be provided on the first day.

 

Completing HET: Module 1: The Knowledge Base of Teaching is a prerequisite to attending this workshop

Description

Teachers will learn how to apply planning decisions and use five levels of thinking to guide lesson planning. They will also practice formulating criteria and construct feedback.
