Rumble in the Jungle is a large, open house event designed for high school students and transfer students. This FREE event begins with an overview of admission, financial aid, scholarships, housing and activities and includes an academic and student services showcase, in which students can meet faculty and staff and learn more about PSU programs. Rumble in the Jungle also includes a campus tour, lunch and optional tours of the Kansas Technology Center, Bicknell Family Center for the Arts, and Exercise Science.
We also encourage high schools and community colleges to bring their students to this event.

Q: When does the program start?
A: Check-in will begin at 9:00 a.m. at the Bicknell Family Center for the Arts, and program activities are scheduled from 9:45 a.m. to approximately 1:00 p.m.
Q: Should my family plan to attend Rumble in the Jungle?
A: Yes! Content for both students and parents are provided throughout the day.
Q: Can I tour the Kansas Technology Center, Bicknell Center for the Arts, or Student Recreation Center?
A: Yes! Optional tours of the Kansas Technology Center, Bicknell Center for the Arts and the Student Recreation Center begin at 8:00 a.m.
Q: What if my family and I plan to attend the optional football game?
A: Students who register to attend Rumble in the Jungle will receive a free ticket. At the time of your online registration, you will also have the option to purchase additional football tickets for your family at a reduced rate of $5 per ticket, up to 4 tickets. (Reduced rate tickets are only available online at the time of registration.)
Q: Where do I park?
A: On the day of the event, visitors are encouraged to park in the parking lot North of Bicknell Family Performing Arts Center. Parking permits are required for this event. Parking permits will be emailed to the registered email address 2 days prior to the event date.
Q: I plan to drive to Pittsburg the night before the event. Do you have recommendations for lodging?
