The 2023 KSDE Special Education and Title Services Leadership Conference is designed for all Kansas Education Administrators! If you have oversight responsibility for Special Education, School Improvement and/or Title Services, and Early Childhood this is the conference for you! This conference will provide updated information to attendees regarding district requirements and how to support your staff to ensure positive student outcomes in academics and behavior.
The registration fee to attend the conference on July 26 and July 27 is $275.00.
Please note there are several optional meetings and workshops occurring on July 25th. You must register separately for those events if you would like to attend. Please see the optional meetings and the registration for those further below on this page. Optional meetings are free of charge, but you must register to attend.
Cancellation Policy
To receive a full refund on registration, you must cancel your registration 14 days prior to the event start date.

To complete registration payment must be made. Payment can be made by credit card or electronic check. If you are going to fill out the registration form, make sure you have your payment ready to enter after completing the registration form. To attend the Special Education Administrators Quarterly# 1 you will need to register for it individually by clicking on the registration button below. Registering for the conference does not register you to attend any of the optional meetings being held on July 25th. You must register for the conference and quarterly meeting to attend both.

To attend the Title/LCP Administrators Quarterly# 1 you will need to register for it individually by clicking on the registration button below. Registering for the conference does not register you to attend any of the optional meetings being held on July 25th. You must register for the conference and quarterly meeting to attend both.
On Tuesday, before the main Conference July 25th, 2023 an optional in-person MIS workshop will be happening from 2:00 PM-5:00 PM. To attend the MIS workshop being held on July 25th you will need to register for this separately by clicking on the registration button listed below. Registering for the conference will not register you to attend the MIS workshop. You will need to register for both events if you would like to attend both.
A room block has been set up at the Hyatt Regency in Wichita for this conference. These rooms will be available at a discounted rate until the block is sold out. Sedwick County GSA Per Diem rate is $98 + $20 for each additional person in the room ( please note if you are sharing a hotel room there will be an additional fee).

Parking is free for all attendees in the hotel's parking garage. Please note limited parking is available. There are parking lots available offsite within walking distance for alternate parking.
If sleeping rooms are filled up at the Hyatt an additional sleeping room block is open for this conference at the Fairfield Inn & Suites at $119 per night. This room block will be available until July 11th or until the block is sold out.

We are monitoring COVID-19 spread, government mandates and policy changes; CDC guidelines; and other public health advancements. Currently, there will be a sanitation station that will include limited PPE and hand sanitizer at this year's conference for your convenience. The conference venue does not have a mask requirement at this time, so please plan for your own comfort by bringing your own mask(s) if you plan to wear one throughout the conference. Let's all be respectful of each others' choices as we continue to navigate health and safety concerns.
