Details

The purpose of this program is to discover the unique partnership between HELP and the Legal Aid of Nebraska which includes hospitals and federally qualified health centers in Lincoln and Omaha.

 

Program Objective: Discuss how HELP attorneys eliminate the legal barriers that impact patient's access to healthcare and promote better health outcomes.

 

In order to receive continuing education contact hours for this event, you must meet the following completion requirements:

  • View/complete all course materials and content.
  • Completion/submission of evaluation form within 30 days of completing materials.

Nebraska Methodist College Professional Development is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the Midwest Multistate Division, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.


Physical Therapy And Physical Therapist Assistants

This offering meets the continuing education criteria for 1.0 clock hours for Nebraska and Iowa physical therapists and physical therapist assistants.

 

Occupational Therapy and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants

This offering meets the continuing education criteria for 1.0 clock hours for Nebraska and Iowa occupational therapists and certified occupational therapy assistants.


Social Work
This offering meets the continuing education criteria for 1.0 clock hours for Nebraska licensed mental health practitioners and Iowa Social Workers.

Education
1.0 education hours. Nebraska Methodist College Professional Development assigns education hours based on 60 minutes of classroom instruction for each offering. Participants may use these for their professional continuing education hours and toward re-licensure if so approved within the standards and guidelines of their discipline.
