Methodist Health System employees who provide their employee ID number on the registration form may take this course at no cost. NMC Alumni who provide graduation year and last name at graduation may take this course at no cost. NMC students can attend at no cost but do not receive CE.


Audience

Nurses, Physicians, social workers, licensed mental health providers, medical assistants, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals caring for the behavior health patient.


Details

The purpose of this conference is to increase awareness while providing education, support, and resources in caring for the behavioral health patient.

 

Program Objectives:

  • Become more aware of the myths, facts, data, and trends regarding suicide
  • Effectively identify passive and active suicidal risk factors in young adults
  • Explore how COVID-19 has impacted our alcohol use
  • Discuss ways to reintegrate as a staff member after COVID-19

 

In order to receive continuing education hours for this event, you must meet the following completion requirements:

  • Attendance at the entire activity
  • Completion/submission of evaluation form
