Methodist Health System employees who provide their employee ID number on the registration form may take this course at no cost. NMC Alumni who provide graduation year and last name at graduation may take this course at no cost. NMC students can attend at no cost but do not receive CE.


Audience

We welcome all nurses, social workers, medical assistants, mental health practitioners, occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professions interested in learning more about equity and our healthcare laws.


Details

This program will explore what the laws say when it comes to equity and healthcare.

 

Program Objectives:

  • Discuss the healthcare laws in regards to the topic of equity

 

In order to receive continuing education hours for this event, you must meet the following completion requirements:

Education Credit: 1.0 Education hours. Nebraska Methodist College Professional Development assigns education hours based on 60 minutes of classroom instruction for each offering. Participants may use these for their professional continuing education hours and toward re-licensure if so approved within the standards and guidelines of their discipline
