This program is being presented through the Recovery Champions of Nebraska initiative. A group of peer professionals working together to break the stigma around behavioral health disorders.

We welcome all individuals interested in learning more about personal recovery stories.


The purpose of this webinar is to provide education around personal recovery journeys. The learner will hear about life experiences, personal struggles that have impacted mental and emotional health, and personal journeys towards recovery.


Program Objectives:

  • Hear personal recovery stories from individuals in our community
  • Identify what is means to move towards recovery

In order to receive continuing education hours for this event, you must meet the following completion requirements:

  • Attendance at the entire activity
  • Completion/submission of evaluation form

Continuing Education

Nebraska Methodist College Professional Development awards educational contact hours to the disciplines listed below. Each professional is accountable to understand their accrediting/licensing body's standards and requirements. Nurses: 1.5 contact hours awarded. Midwest Multistate Division Provider Approval # NE1025-1. Nebraska Methodist College Professional Development is approved with distinction as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the Midwest Multistate Division, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.


Mental Health: This offering meets the continuing education criteria for 1.5clock hours for Nebraska licensed mental health practitioners.


Social Work: This offering meets the continuing education criteria for 1.5 clock hours for Nebraska Social Workers.


Physical Therapist And Physical Therapist Assistants: This offering meets the continuing education criteria for 1.5 clock hours for Nebraska physical therapists and physical therapist assistants.


Occupational Therapist and Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants: This offering meets the continuing education criteria for 1.5 clock hours for Nebraska occupational therapists and certified occupational therapists assistants.


Education Credit: 1.5 Education hours. Nebraska Methodist College Professional Development assigns education hours based on 60 minutes of classroom instruction for each offering. Participants may use these for their professional continuing education hours and toward re-licensure if so approved within the standards and guidelines of their discipline
