Audience

We welcome all Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Nurses, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Oral Surgeons, Dentists, ENT, Radiation Therapists, and other Healthcare Professionals interested in the care of head and neck patients.


Details

The purpose of this program is to focus on patient-centered care with personal experiences in head and neck cancer journeys.

 

Program Objectives:

  • Understand the impact of depression and mental health on the patient and caregivers
  • Gain an appreciation of the prolonged course of cancer, its treatments, and the impact on the patient and caregivers
  • Discuss the multifactorial approach to rehabbing a patient with head and neck cancer
  • Identify the functional impact of head and neck cancer treatment

 

In order to receive continuing education hours for this event, you must meet the following completion requirements:

  • Attendance at the entire activity
