Audience

We welcome all nurses, physicians, medical assistants, respiratory therapists, dosimetrists, radiologic technologists, and other healthcare professionals caring for the lung cancer patient.


Details

The purpose of this program is to discuss best practices related to the lung cancer patient.

 

Program Objectives:

  • Discuss updates in lung cancer screening
  • Explain the benefits of robotic assisted bronchoscopies
  • Discuss photodynamic therapy and the benefits
  • Identify the use of SBRT in early stage lung cancer
  • Explain important discussion points during end of life care for lung cancer patients

 

In order to receive continuing education hours for this event, you must meet the following completion requirements:

Dosimetrists: This activity has been approved by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB) for 4 total credits if the attendee is present for all sessions. Participants must provide their CMD ID# to the conference organizer.

 

Medical Assistant: An application has been made to the American Association of Medical Assistants and is pending approval.

 

Respiratory: This program meets the continuing education criteria for 4.0 clock hours for Nebraska Respiratory Care Practitioners.

 

Education Credit: 4.0 Education hours. Nebraska Methodist College Professional Development assigns education hours based on 60 minutes of classroom instruction for each offering. Participants may use these for their professional continuing education hours and toward re-licensure if so approved within the standards and guidelines of their discipline.
