We welcome all nurses, physicians, respiratory therapists and other healthcare professionals that care for patients or are interested in pulmonary medicine.


The Pulmonary Symposium will provide current information and evidence-based guidelines that will enhance clinical and professional practices related to the care of patients with pulmonary disease. Topics include pulmonary fibrosis, sleep apnea, asthma and COPD updates.


Program Objectives:

  • Discuss the impact of pulmonary fibrosis
  • Discover new sleep apnea treatments
  • Examine the use of inhaled Epoprostenol
  • Review COPD updates
  • Identify new pharmacological management for asthma


In order to receive continuing education hours for this event, you must meet the following completion requirements:

  • Attendance at the entire activity
  • Completion/submission of evaluation form

Education Credit: 4.0 Education hours. Nebraska Methodist College Professional Development assigns education hours based on 60 minutes of classroom instruction for each offering. Participants may use these for their professional continuing education hours and toward re-licensure if so approved within the standards and guidelines of their discipline.


Respiratory Therapists: This program meets the continuing education criteria for 4.0 clock hours for Nebraska Respiratory Care Practitioners.
