The CNA Plus Hybrid Course will run from 7/5/2023 to 10/14/2023 for online lecture and assignments with a weekly on-campus lab. Clinical will be September 25th - October 14th at various locations throughout the community.
Applications open through 6/14/2023 4:00 PM Central Time (US & Canada).
Students will be notified of acceptance after the application, written statement, and transcript(s) have been received and reviewed. We utilize a rolling admission system to accept students. Please read all the information below before applying. Upon acceptance the $250.00 deposit is due within five business days. The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to the first day of class.
This course is a hybrid course consisting of online lectures and assignments as well as on-campus labs and clinical experiences in the community. Students will come to campus Monday and Wednesdays from 9:00am to 1:00pm to complete hands-on skills and participate in class activities and discussions for CNA and Medication Aide. Phlebotomy will meet on Wednesday evenings. Students need to be prepared to spend approximately 10 hours online each week plus 3-4 hours in lab.

Please note: Your Phlebotomy clinical rotation will start on Monday, September 25th and will end on October 14th. Eight-hour clinical days are required Monday through Friday for a total of 40 hours a week during the 3 weeks of clinical. Specific clinical locations and shift start times will be discussed and assigned during the first week of class. All clinical sites require daytime availability, there are no options for night or weekend clinical shifts at this time. It is your responsibility to have your schedule outside of this class/clinical arranged so you are able to meet these requirements. Attendance is mandatory for both lab and clinical.
To be considered for the CNA+ program you must complete the online application including a written personal statement (see below), and upload or request your official high school transcript or official transcripts for any colleges attended, if applicable. A non-refundable $200.00 deposit to secure your seat in the course will be due within five business days upon acceptance into the course.
Withdrawal Policy
Students may receive a 50% tuition refund prior to the first class meeting. After the first class meeting, no refunds will be given.
