The cost includes the course, lunch, a $40 non-refundable booklet, and program deposit for all registrants.

Cost:

  • $150 for general registrants
  • $40 for Methodist employees, Methodist retirees, NMC alumni, and NMC students (no CE for students)

  • Cancellations and replacements can be made up to one week prior to the program.

Audience

We welcome all nurses preparing to sit for the Critical Care Nursing certification exam.


Details

The purpose of this activity is to enable participants to increase their knowledge and preparation for the successful passage of the CCRN certification examination.

 

Program Objectives:

  • Apply the physiological-based knowledge required for sound clinical judgment in cardiovascular disorders
  • Apply the physiological-based knowledge required for sound clinical judgment in endocrine disorders
  • Apply the physiological-based knowledge required for sound clinical judgment in gastrointestinal disorders
  • Apply the physiological-based knowledge required for sound clinical judgment in hematologic disorders
  • Apply the physiological-based knowledge required for sound clinical judgment in neurologic disorders
  • Apply the physiological-based knowledge required for sound clinical judgment in pulmonary disorders
  • Apply the physiological-based knowledge required for sound clinical judgment in renal and electrolyte disorders
  • Apply the physiological-based knowledge required for sound clinical judgment in patients with shock states or sepsis
  • Identify key aspects of care in patients with multisystem disorders in acute and critical care
  • Describe key aspects of holistic care supporting behavioral and psychosocial issues in acute and critically ill patients
  • Describe the nurse characteristics of the Synergy Model as they relate to professional caring and ethical practice for patients and families
