Over the last year, climate anxiety has mounted. Floods and fire in the west, eroding shorelines in the north, and killer heat waves in our urban centers have left many wondering if we can truly address climate change. Dr. Warren Mabee, Department of Geography and Planning at Queen’s, will walk through the steps required to get us to ‘net zero’ by 2050 and talk about the challenges that each of us will face dealing with the climate crisis. Specific policies that can help us achieve net zero faster, and a more sustainable economy, will be described. Please join us for this informative session.
