Join as renowned trauma expert Dr. Janina Fisher discusses the psychological and somatic impact of living through a pandemic. Dr. Fisher is a licensed Clinical Psychologist and Supervisor at the Trauma Research Foundation founded by Bessel van der Kolk. She is known for her expertise as a therapist and consultant and is the author of Healing the Fragmented Selves of Trauma Survivors and Transforming the Living Legacy of Trauma. Dr. Fisher will discuss the traumatic impact of Covid-19 on our minds and bodies. To heal from trauma, it is even more important to know what is happening now than what happened and to transform how the mind and body remember it. Strategies for coping, healing, and resilience will be offered.
