Lab Safety One-Day Professional Development Event

Experienced presenters from Flinn Scientific will lead this TEAMS-approved event and will focus on the following:
- Lab safety equipment that every science teacher should have.
- Ways to acquire this equipment, even on a tight budget.
- How to use and properly maintain the equipment.
- Labs, the law, and teacher liability.
- Ways to limit liability and prevent student accidents.
- Lab dos and don'ts.
The event will be held at the Vestavia Hills Civic Center from 8:30AM to 3:30PM CST. Lunch will be provided.
There is a $200 registration fee for the event. This fee applies to all teachers (program, partner, and non-A+ affiliated).

Cancellation Policy
Registrations may be canceled by 10/4/2023 12:00 PM but payment is NONREFUNDABLE. A link for use in cancelling registration will be located in the registration confirmation email.
There is a $200 registration fee for the event. This fee applies to all teachers (program, partner, and non-A+ affiliated).
Payment is requested at the time of registration by credit card. A purchase order option is available but the purchase order MUST be emailed to purchaseorders@aplusala.org. Payment MUST BE RECEIVED by A+ College Ready by the 10/4/2023 12:00 PM or your registration may be canceled.
Your purchase order must include the following: Teacher's first and last name, School name, and the A+ College Ready training you plan to attend.
