For the safety of all at our conference, attendees are strongly encouraged to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. Face coverings will be required and physical distancing will be encouraged. Following all other CDC and local guidelines will be required. AADD reserves the right to offer the conference only by videoconference if circumstances warrant.


In addition to standard practices, the St. Charles Convention Center utilizes, throughout its facility, an ionization system that neutralizes bacteria and viruses (including COVID-19). To further ensure safety, an additional UV lighting system has been installed into the air handlers.

The Association on Aging with Developmental Disabilities (AADD) was initially formed in 1989 as a special interest group and became incorporated in 1994. AADD has a primary objective of bringing the aging and developmental disability fields together to create and provide best practices for people aging with developmental disabilities.
