Thank you for considering hosting a Lent Connection Group. As the leader you will meet with your group 3 times starting the week of March 28th.  When and where you choose to set your meetings with your group is up to you but we have outlined some common themes for each meeting.  Materials will be provided to help you through discussion times each week.

 


Week 1 – Eat Together

During your first meeting we suggest you share a meal and some conversation.  Again, a conversation guide will be provided.  You can choose to grab breakfast, lunch or dinner.  You can meet at a restaurant or weather permitting, at a park.  If you choose a restaurant you will be responsible for making a reservation but each guest will pay for their own meal. 

(Leawood will be offering a meal on Wednesday March 30th at 6:30pm and meeting in the Foundry)



Week 2 – Grow Together

During your second meeting time we encourage you to get out and share an experience together. You may choose to engage with one of our prayer walks (Leawood & West locations), experience the stained glass window at Resurrection Leawood, or even just spend some time in nature together on a walk. 

Stained Glass Window Times: April 4 & 5 9-11am; 1-3pm; 5-7pm
Prayer Walk Times: Mon-Thurs. 9am-4pm
Lenten Concert on April 6th at 12:15pm


Week 3 – Serve Together

At your last meeting time we encourage you to find a way to serve together.  Resurrection is hosting a Serve Saturday on April 16th at all 5 of our locations.  You can sign up to serve as a group.  You can also find other great ideas for doing your own DIY project at (web address).
