You can volunteer before the conference and during the conference - Listed below are the job descriptions for each of the volunteer positions. Please review the descriptions and then let us know where/when you'd like to serve by clicking on the position/time listed in the registration section - positions are listed chronologically on the registration form.
PRE-CONFERENCE VOLUNTEER POSITIONS
Conference Mailer Prep: Help prepare conference materials for our online guests. Assemble gift and materials to be sent in mail. Sitting job.
Conference Materials Assembly: Help prepare conference materials for our in person guests by stuffing promotional material and gifts in guest tote bags. Also preparing name tags for guests, attaching lanyards to name badges. Walking, standing and some lifting involved.
Conference Set Up:
Assist with covering Sponsor tables and preparing Check In tables. Help with initial set up of break and lunch areas. Walking, standing and some lifting involved.
CONFERENCE VOLUNTEER POSITIONS
TUESDAY EVENING 9/27- FRIDAY 9/30
Book Signing: Direct and Manage Guests as they line up and wait to get Adam's book signed.
Break Prep and Host: In advance of scheduled breaks, help to prepare trays and boxes with pre-packaged snacks, wash fresh fruit and deliver to the break station tables. During break, set out bottled/canned beverages for our guests, replenish food items as necessary, give direction about food choices. After the break, help clean up the stations. Walking, standing and light lifting required.
Breakout Room Host: Welcome guests, hand out materials as needed and monitor room for needs during breakout. You will be standing and sitting. Great guest interaction!
Cafe Volunteer: Stocking, cleaning, serving beverages, working alongside cafe staff. Standing Required.
Guest Check-In & Materials Distribution: Help check in guests as they arrive and pass out name tags, notebooks, conference materials, and t-shirts.

Direction Host: You will be able to use a map! Help direct our guests to classrooms for workshops, to break areas, lunch areas and to restrooms. We will provide a map and workshop room list. Standing required. Great guest interaction!
Dismissal Host: Stand near exits to thank guests for coming and say goodbye as they leave for the day. Standing required. Great guest interaction!
Featured Session Host: Welcome guests, hand out materials as needed and monitor room for needs during session. You will be standing and sitting. Great guest interaction!
Greeter: Stand at outdoor entrance areas to greet and direct our guests as they arrive, giving specific directions for the day's events. Standing required. Great guest interaction!
Information Desk Building A/B: Help our guests as needed with conference, church or area information. Information about area restaurants, activities and services will be provided as well as emergency information and pastors on call. You are able to sit to do this job. Great guest interaction!
Lunch Host: Prior to lunch, help arrange buffet tables (if not being handled by catering staff), direct guests through serving lines, bus tables and serve beverages. Assist with tear down and clean up. Standing required. Great guest interaction!
Parking Lot Greeter: Direct guests into parking lots; assist with directing vans/buses to appropriate spots. This is a first point of contact for our guests! This is one of our most difficult positions to fill - please consider serving in this way! Standing required.
Tear Down: Assist with un-stuffing materials, tearing down boxes, etc. at end of day. Walking and light lifting required.
Usher: Welcome guests; distribute materials as needed; also tidy up your section(s) at the end of the session in preparation for the next one. Standing required. Great guest interaction!
