This course will review the stages of team development and explore the feelings, behaviors, and needs of team members at each stage. Participants will also take the Team Player Style Inventory and learn their tendencies in team environments and how to more effectively work with other styles to improve performance.

This course is part of the Managing High Performing Teams Certificate Program and is a prerequisite for other courses.
Nathan Strong is the Director of Organizational Development for the Division of Human Resources at the University of South Carolina.
There is no charge to participate in this course. Employees should cancel their registration if they are unable to participate. Participants leaving early will not receive credit for participating. If there is an emergency, please notify the instructor(s).
Effective August 1, 2021: Participants in online classes for the OPD certificate programs (LEAD, Managing High Performing Teams, and Effective Communication) MUST have a working microphone on their computers or use the dial-in feature and be able to verbally participate in the sessions. OPD will require a sound check during introductions at the beginning of the session to verify your ability to participate.
