A gift certificate to attend grandparent's class is a wonderful present for any grandparent-to-be. For grandparents, pregnancy and babies may seem like familiar territory. However, much has changed over the years, with new medical guidelines, new products and new information to improve the care of mothers-to-be, new mothers and their babies. This 3-hour class helps grandparents get up to speed.

Grandparents learn the latest about:

• Prenatal care
• Labor and delivery practices
• Postpartum care, including recognizing postpartum depression
• How to support a new mother's breastfeeding
• Navigating the transition from parent to grandparent
• Supporting the new family in the first weeks and beyond
• Reducing the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS)
• Infant safety, including car and pet safety

• You are purchasing a gift certificate to cover the class registration fee of $55.00 per couple. To register for a class instead of purchasing a gift certificate, please return to our calendar and click on the desired class to get to the registration page.
• After purchasing the gift certificate, you will receive an e-mail with a downloadable certificate to present to the grandparents-to-be.
• Grandparent couples will use the gift certificate to register for Grandparent's Class on their preferred date. Please guide the grandparents to call us at 832-825-3276 to register.
• Grandparents may attend class either before or after the birth of their grandchild, though we recommend attending before, if possible.
• The pregnant couple may not attend this class. It is exclusively for grandparents.
• Refunds to the original form of payment are available any time before the recipient registers for a class. After registering, our normal refund and transfer policy applies.
