A comprehensive multidisciplinary team approach to cancer rehab provides critical elements for a successful transition back to independence. An Oncology rehab specialist demonstrates comprehension of the mechanisms involved with the progression of care from chemotherapy, radiation, surgical procedures, psychological impact, and functional limitations.
