Texas Children's Pavilion for Women is pleased to offer an innovative approach to learning the core skills of infant CPR and choking relief. This class combines the skill and experience of a nurse who is a certified CPR instructor with the research-based American Heart Association's Infant CPR Anytime® program.

You'll learn:

• CPR and choking relief for infants up to one year of age
• General safety for infants and toddlers, including accident prevention and room-by-room childproofing measures.

After class, we encourage you to engage others in learning infant CPR and the relief of choking. You'll have a kit that includes everything you need to help family members and caregivers learn. Then, you can rest assured that everyone knows what to do in an emergency.

• This is a live, virtual class.
• To participate in this class, you need an Infant CPR Anytime kit which contains a baby manikin for practice. You will receive this in the mail the week before class.
• This class is attended by anyone responsible for the care and safety of an infant.
• Parents-to-be should attend during the last trimester of pregnancy or within 5 months of their baby's birth.
• Participants do not receive CPR certification.
