Dental Emergencies and How to Solve Them

Friday, July 10, 2020

Dental Emergencies have always been the bread and butter of dentistry. Dental professionals often await this phone call before closing for their practice each day, but may struggle with actually helping patients and making a vast impact with a limited amount of information. Often, this results in patients repeatedly communicating with the practice without resolve. If this is something your practice may have encountered, it is essential that you elevate your practice and find a solution for their issue. Learn how to manage dental emergencies such as endodontic pain, swelling, or trauma. Ensure your practice can manage these entities and better serve the community.

Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Describe the different types of dental emergencies and recognize various treatment options
  • Identify essential equipment and resources needed to perform emergency treatments¬†
  • Evaluate the pharmacological agents available for treating pathologies
  • Recognize the difference between an emergency and an urgency.
