An Interactive, Online Activity for Kids

WHEN:

Tuesday, August 25, 2020

11:00 - 11:45 AM


WHAT:

A FREE virtual, oral health care clinic hosted by the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at UTHealth School of Dentistry at Houston. This clinic is designed to ease concerns about dentistry and spark a passion for oral hygiene at a young age. With their favorite stuffed animal or doll as the patient, children will visit with a dentist and the Tooth Fairy. Teach kids about the dentist's office, what happens there, and how to best care for their mouth at this interactive, virtual event.

Children can also look forward to a special message and appearance from the Tooth Fairy!

WHO:

This activity is recommended for children ages 3-9.

WHERE:

Online, via Cisco WebEx from a computer or smart phone.
*Video and audio connections are encouraged

National Tooth Fairy Day

UTHealth School of Dentistry and UTHealth Pediatric Dentistry in Houston Medical Center Plaza collaborate each year to recognize National Tooth Fairy Day on Aug. 22. Tooth Fairy Day is also celebrated on Feb 28.
