The Voice One Audiobook Program features six distinct classes and four incredible instructors!
The program opens with an on-demand video by Ann Richardson that lays out the basics of what it takes to start and maintain a career in audiobook narration.
Then once a month, work with distinguished audiobook narrators starting with Ann Richardson introducing you to performance. Next, Shannon Parks takes you on a deep dive into your text. Then, P.J. Ochlan helps you develop your own 'toolbox' of characters. Later, Kimberly M. Wetherell shows you how to self-direct. Finally, Ann Richardson returns to share ideas for booking work, and taking your narration to the next level.
And returning this semester, you'll meet with teaching assistant Megan Trout to practice between your class sessions. Megan is an incredibly talented Voice One alumnus who is already making a name for herself in the audiobook world.
These classes are only available as part of the complete Audiobook Program and are limited to 8 students. Class meets online via Zoom.
Classes for any level are open to everyone! Completion of our 3-hour 'Narration Simple' prior to attendance is highly encouraged.
This class is held on Zoom. Class will not be recorded.
