• Physiological, neurophysiological, and electrophysiological changes that occur as a result of DPAM use (3hrs.)

• Theory and Principles of the utilization of DPAM agents including guidelines for treatment or administration of agents within the physiological framework of occupational therapy (2hrs.)

• Rationale and application of the use of DPAMs (3hrs.)

• The physical concepts of ion movement within the human body (2hrs.)

• Critical thinking and decision making regarding the indication and contraindications in the use of DPAMs (3hrs.)

• Benefits of Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (3hrs.)

• Benefits of Neuromuscular electrical stimulation (3hrs.)

• Benefits of Ultrasound (3hrs.)

Upon successful completion and five supervised clinical deep physical agent modality treatments, the therapist is eligible to apply for DPAM Specialty Certification by (KBLOT).
