An Orthopedic Update for Primary Care 2021 | Friday, April 16, 2021

Primary care clinicians are often the 1st point of contact in the health care system. They play a major role in helping patients manage musculoskeletal conditions. Nothing compares with having up-to-date knowledge, practice guidelines, and medical skills in order to empower primary care clinicians in their ability to provide accessible, cost-effective care while improving patient outcomes.

The event offers practical approaches to orthopedic problems and addresses the newest diagnostic and therapeutic techniques. The conference features new topics on pediatrics, common hand fractures, overuse conditions, management of the post-surgical patient, the new CDC Concussion Guidelines; and special sessions on The Female Athlete and Pain Management.

Course Objectives:

Discuss the evaluation and management protocols of upper- and lower extremity injuries as well as other acute and chronic conditions.

Evaluate treatment options for common orthopedic conditions.
