This course will help to ensure successful caller outcomes and decreased liability for your agency. New tools and strategies to meet your agency's needs to aid in guaranteeing systematic, consistent training, documentation and record keeping. This course utilizes Adult Learning models and methods to improve learner outcomes as well as assisting in retention rates and training protocols.

Pre-Course Assignments
·Pre-class reading of Units 1 & 2 in the Student Guide. *Will be sent to registrants prior to the first day of class.
·Bring your agency mission statement to class with you, printed on 8.5 x 11 paper, landscape. Print it as large as will fit on the paper (for readability)
·Bring a Standard Evaluation Guideline or if your training program utilizes Phase Focus forms, bring one from one area you train on at your agency.
·Bring two typewritten examples of training you conduct with a trainee that belong in the affective domain and two that belong in the cognitive domain (4 total)
*Must be currently employed by a Public Safety Answering Point/911 Communications Center
