PER-375-1: Surviving an Active Shooter: Run. Hide. Fight: Train-the-Trainer

Course Description

Primary Core Capability: Environmental Response/Health and Safety


This course serves as an 8-hour block of instruction that prepares trainer-the-trainer (TTT) participants to effectively conduct an indirect delivery of Surviving an Active Shooter: Run. Hide. Fight. It contains a review of module content, individual and class reflection, guidance on becoming a trainer, and administrative information and tasks.

Participants receive credit for the course but are not certified to instruct.

Course Objectives

By the end of this course, Participants will be able to:

 

  • Recognize the course goal, terminal and enabling learning objectives, and course schedule.
  • Provide an overview of the module content in Surviving an Active Shooter: Run. Hide. Fight.
  • Successfully teach an indirect delivery of Surviving an Active Shooter: Run. Hide. Fight.
  • Successfully complete the administrative requirements necessary to schedule and teach an indirect delivery.
