The 4-hour training will consist of a live virtual workshop using Microsoft Outlook Teams to teach crisis de-escalation and effective intervention skills, and call management strategies. Participants will identify safety concerns for individuals experiencing crisis and for responders, and will discuss local service and resource linkages such as mental health and crisis lines.

Registration must include a valid email address to receive the Teams invitation to participate in the course.

 

 

The CIT for 911-1 on-demand training must be completed through:

https://wa911training.moe911.com/ (Course Title: Crisis Intervention Team Training - Independent Study), including the knowledge check (80% passing) PRIOR to taking the live virtual course.

 

You will receive 2 separate certificates (one for each 4-hour block) that will then meet the 8-hour mandate.

 

Participants must be currently employed at a 911 center or PSAP.
