Join us for the HazMat Workshop on the EAST side of Washington! The 2023 Eastside HazMat Workshop will be in-person at Spokane Fire Training Academy and will have an emphasis on HazMat Team development, leadership learning, and scenario-based training.

The Washington State Emergency Response Commission (SERC) is pleased to announce registration is open for the 2023 Eastern Hazardous Materials Workshop. This workshop is provided through a collaborative effort of the SERC and other state agencies.
PLEASE NOTE This workshop is FREE OF CHARGE to attend for all Washington State HazMat workers, first responders, and members of the WA Emergency Management community.
The purpose of the workshop is to increase the knowledge and experience of all in attendance, and to foster connections between the HazMat community. This year will have more practical hands-on experiences as well as covering topics that are relevant to Hazmat current issues like lithium batteries, radiation, chemical properties, and more! Any first responder, member of the Washington State emergency management community is invited to attend (part or all) of this workshop and training event.
Topics presented during the Eastside HazMat Workshop include similar topics to the Westside HazMat Workshop!!
