STR Management Certification ZOOM Session

This is the ZOOM Registration for the 2-day live course session. (Students will interact with participants in the live in-person class session. Registrants must be present via ZOOM for the full 2 days to qualify to take the Certification Exam).

While the STR Certification Course content applies to all locations, this session will focus heavily on STR property management with most of the examples highlighting the Las Vegas area. Knowing how to find answers within changing regulations and practices will help hosts, managers, realtors, investors, government officials, hoteliers, and STR industry vendors.

Renting a home or a room to guests for short stays can be profitable - or it can create loss and liability. Understanding and applying industry best practices can benefit STR management, code compliance, and profitability. And managing STR rental units for owners and investment groups is significantly different from long-term rental management and resort unit rental practices.

The STR Certification Course explores proven STR best practices regarding applicable laws, accounting, pricing, marketing, platform listings, guest and neighbor relations, contracts, maintenance, housekeeping, design, decor, amenities, security, safety, LTR versus STR laws and practices, technology, monitoring systems, manager/owner relations, domestic and international STR investment, challenges, opportunities, and more!

This course session also qualifies for STR education requirements in several cities and counties. And it's been approved and is hosted by many universities and real estate divisions. This ZOOM session does not qualify for RE CE (the live, in-person session qualifies for 3 General CE through the Nevada Real Estate Division for qualified realtors (CE.6583000-RE STR Industry Laws and Financial Best Practices).

Wednesday, July 27, 2022 and Thursday, July 28, 2022 8:45 AM - 4 PM daily

This live class session via ZOOM will be held on two consecutive days in Las Vegas, Nevada (July 27, 2022, from 8:45 am to 4 pm and July 28, 2022, from 8:45 am to 4 pm).

Tuition is $390.00 (tuition also includes a digital copy of the textbook)

Policies

Credit Card payment is required at the time of registration.

Students must verify their identity using a government-issued ID each class day.

Enrollment: Please share registration information with your associates. If a class date must be changed or canceled (due to emergency closures), students will be notified by email, and refunds will be issued promptly with no fee deduction.

Change or Refund Policy: Please notify us by email at least 48 hours before the first day of class if you want to change or cancel your course registration. Requests for changes we can accommodate will incur a $40 fee. Requests for cancellation of course registration after the deadline (within 48 hours of the class date) will be denied.

We keep the tuition rate for this course economical (a fraction of the usual fee) because community leaders request this specialized education, and we understand that small business owners have many expenses. We ask for your consideration, so we can continue to keep tuition rates low for this vital training.

Confidentiality: We keep student information confidential. However, a student who shares their course certificate with government officials allows STR Certification or the host University to verify the student's course completion.

Student Conduct: We value our students and want you all to feel safe and respected in class. This course is hosted through Higher Education Institutions, so rules associated with university student conduct apply within this live course session. Attendees must comply with class rules and practice civility and respect. Students causing disruption or safety concerns will be removed from the live or virtual classroom and will not qualify for certification (or a refund).

Attendance: Students must attend the entire course session and pass the final examination to qualify for possible certification. Only registered students, instructors, and support staff can be in the live or virtual classroom.

Location

The live in-person class will be in Las Vegas. This registration is for students who will participate in this 2-day live class session via ZOOM.
