8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
The current state of health care has had a significant impact on the mental health of health care and community professionals. Health care and community professionals are less likely to ask for help compared to the general population, often leading to burnout, and leaving a career they once loved. Therefore, it is important for health care providers to regularly engage in self-care to ensure that their mental health needs do not go untreated. This continuing education event is designed to explore the stressors and the impact of the current state of health care and community professional’s wellbeing, present practical self-care strategies as well as practice strategies for self-care.
