Day 3- Responsive Circles

Jun 27, 2022 Time: 9:00-4:00
Session 1: Overview of Restorative Practices-You will learn skills you can use immediately to strengthen relationships and respond to conflict in your classroom, community, or organization. From day one, you will learn a range of strategies you can use every day. You will learn how to set high expectations while being supportive. You will practice how to provide direct feedback and how to ask questions that foster accountability. You will also learn the most effective methods to resolve common conflict.

June 28, 2022 Time: 9:00-4:00

Session 2: Proactive Circles-Circles are an essential process for building social capital, create a positive community environment. You will learn by participating in circles with other attendees, taking turns to learn how to facilitate. By the end of the session, you will be prepared to return to your setting and proficiently run proactive circles.

Jun 29, 2022 Time: 9:00-4:00

Session 3: Responsive Circles-Circles are an essential process for resolving social problems, and responding when harm occurs. You will learn by participating in circles with other attendees, taking turns to learn how to facilitate. By the end of the session, you will be prepared to return to your setting and proficiently run first circles!
