Social-emotional learning (SEL) is vitally important to our students’ success and well-being, both in school and beyond. Through it, students learn to better engage with their emotions, foster empathy toward others, and maintain supportive relationships that will serve them throughout their life. With SEL becoming a mainstay in many classrooms, you may be wondering - how can I support student well-being in my classroom, and what role can technology play in that endeavor? During this 1-hour workshop, you'll have a chance to explore how you can foster social-emotional learning through a variety of simple, accessible, technology-driven solutions. New and experienced SEL educators are invited to join in as we strive to answer: * What is SEL? * How can we include SEL in our daily classrooms without being an SEL expert? * How can I promote an SEL mindset in my classroom or school? * Can the technology that I use with my students be used to further SEL? Come join and meet new friends, network, share a common passion and ultimately help our students.
