Small business owners, project managers and management professionals, regardless of their specialty, need to have a good understanding of accounting terminology, concepts and financial statements to make crucial decisions and effectively communicate with accounting and finance professionals. After completing this course, participants will be able to understand financial and accounting terminology and concepts; understand, read, and interpret financial statements; discuss basic cost accounting, be more strategic with budget and planning and review ratios and performance measures.
