Schools that are implementing school-wide PBIS now have a way to analyze discipline data as it relates to disproportionality. This session will discuss how to implement culturally-responsive PBIS and also will guide school teams how to address disproportionality through a PBIS framework. New data reports that disaggregate discipline data by ethnicity will be explained. The session will also discuss alternatives to suspension that schools can use to reduce their reliance on out-of-school suspensions and add more effective, positive behavioral interventions to their toolkit.
