Maker & Emerging Technologies: Learn what Colgate Has To Offer

Colgate’s ITS offers access to, and support of a portfolio of maker, digital fabrication, and emerging technologies. Some examples are 3D printing, 3D scanning, photogrammetry, and SUAV (drones). These specialized, industry leading tools and technologies can introduce new possibilities for your research and create engaging curricular projects. This session will overview many of these tools and provide examples of projects that have utilized these technologies. It will be a presentation with time for discussion.

This will take place as a Zoom meeting. Participants will receive the link to join the meeting via their confirmation email.

 

 


Learning Outcomes

At the end of the workshop, participants will: know how to:

  • Have awareness of maker technologies offered and supported by The Hub
  • Have an understanding of the potential for these tools
  • Have an understanding of various projects utilizing these tools
  • Have an understanding of who to contact for further consultation
