Getting Started with Social Annotation &

The registration period has closed for this event. ( is a digital tool that enables students and instructors to collaboratively read and annotate PDFs and web pages. When used inside of Moodle, makes this marginalia open to all users in a course, thereby transforming reading and meaning-making into a collaborative, shared experience. This workshop will forefront various instructional uses of social annotation and research on the ways in which supports student learning across disciplines. Feedback from Colgate faculty and students who have used in their courses will also be provided. Workshop participants will learn how to create enabled readings inside of a Moodle course through an interactive demonstration of the tool.

This session will take place as a Zoom meeting. Participants will receive the link to join the meeting via their confirmation email.
